CH Forever Greene Talis, CGC, RN

Talis was Yellow puppy from our first Forever Greene litter. She was the 6th puppy born. I have been asked how I decided which pup I wanted to keep many times. There was no conscious decision. When Talis was born I just felt a closeness to her. Something special that wasn't there with the other pups. Not that I didn't love each and everyone of them very much, I just felt drawn to this little one.

Talis has grown into a beautiful, loving, goofy Chinook. Perry calls her Talis Monster. She loves nothing more than to race around the yard chasing her mother or her Uncle Dukavik. She will nip at them and irritate them until they turn and chase her. Talis loves her toys. I won a huge basket of toys at an Agility trial and when I put it down in the living room she promptly started taking the toys out one at a time and inspecting them. Since then we have been awakened every morning by Talis with a different toy in her mouth.

Talis earned her UKC Championship in three days of shows under three different Judges. She has her mothers beautiful movement. She has good angulation and a nice broad head. Her coat is still changing but appears to be the proper length and is very plush. She has the heavier bone that we had bred for and the wonderful woman on knees with dog beside her Chinook personality. She loves to be with people and loves kids to the point of trying to kiss their faces off.

Talis has her AKC Rally Novice title and we will be working on the next step, Rally Advanced next year. She is still way to goofy to be off lead at a show. She would most likely just go play with anyone or any dog that she saw.

I believe that Talis represents everything that a Chinook should be. She has beauty, brains, good health and a goofy, loving personality. Her hips will be evaluated this winter. Then we will decide if she will be bred.
